For nearly twenty years, Yoga has been teaching me the value of practicing full presence. As I explore the union of body and spirit, I continue to be inspired by the depth and vastness of Yoga’s science and philosophy, much more than just physical  postures, breath, sound, and mantra are powerful tools that I am honored to weave into my practices. I also like to bring the depth of poetry and sound into the offerings.

I invite a functional approach to the anatomy of yoga, guiding women to connect with the energy of their moon cycle and to honor the rhythms of their own nature.

Through both movement and stillness, my devotion lies in bringing balance through Yin and Yang offerings—different practices with different purposes for different times.

The connection to the elements is at the heart of my path. Moments of devotion and gratitude for the Earth, and the abundance of the deep feminine, are greatest sources of inspiration. Jai ma!

I started my practice about twenty years ago under the guidance of a Senior Iyengar Yoga teacher, Inês Forjaz in Sintra, Portugal. The importance of the practice grew in me and became an essencial part of my day. Yoga set the tone for many of my life choices, slowly but steadily, until I became a certified teacher, studying Yoga for the first time in India, Kerala in 2018. Being a student always came first and most of all I love to be on the yoga mat. The most relevant of my Yoga studies and training:

Hatha Vinyasa, 200h with Rishikul Yogashala -  India, Kerala (2016)

Advanced Alignment and Adjustments, 20h with Moena de Jong - NL, Amsterdam (2016)

Yoga Nidra, 50h with Matsyendra - NL, Amsterdam (2017)

Yin Yoga, Anatomy and TCM, 100h with Sebastien Pucelle and Murielle Burellier - Indonesia, Ubud (2018)

Breath and Meditation, 100h with Yandara Christopher Perkins - Mexico, Baja California (2022)

Reiki II and ThetaHealing® IV with Puja Mariana (2022)

Yin Yoga Advanced, 60h with Norman Blair - UK, London (2023)

Yoga Therapy for Women´s Health - Yoni Shakti, 50h online with Uma Dinsmore Tuli (2024)

With a background in Art Conservation, my path took a new direction when I moved from Portugal to the Netherlands, where I first began teaching yoga. For several years, I divided my time between Amsterdam and Southeast Asia—learning, teaching, and connecting with inspiring people in beautiful places around the world.

In Amsterdam, I’ve taught in studios such as TULA, Studio 191, SUKHA Yoga, and Yagoy, as well as at retreats and centers across Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Mexico.

After years of traveling and teaching, I returned to Portugal and settled in Aljezur, where I now live. Here, I guide weekly yoga classes, organize and teach at retreats and festivals, and in 2022, I opened and managed Coração Shala—a space dedicated to Yoga, Holistic Therapies, and inspiring gatherings.

My intention is to practice beyond the mat and convert the yogic values into actions. Practicing yoga on healthy and peaceful relationships with the land, individuals, our closest community and the collective, with justice and honesty for all - I do my best to create an inclusive environment, where everyone should have access to this ancient Yoga technology.

I feel honored to collaborate with the Prison Yoga Project Portugal, at the Feminine Prison of Odemira. Prison Yoga Project has developed a holistic approach to rehabilitation and transformation within the criminal justice system.

Beyond yoga, I am deeply nourished by music. Chanting and singing have become beautiful expressions of my journey. Together with my partner, Guilherme Granato, I co-created Nāda Journeys—a marriage of yoga and music, exploring sound as a pathway for expansion and connection.

I also play in a women’s drum and voice group called Adufeiras em Flor, where we share traditional Portuguese songs as well as our own original creations, played with the adufe—a traditional Portuguese frame drum.
